Peg Leasure is the Adoption Event-Co-ordinator for the Humane Society. About five times a month Peg and her volunteers, will take a group of dogs & cats on a "Day Out". Peg also works full time in Physical Therapy at Honda. Next Year Peg plans to retire and do what she loves best, help full time at the shelter.

Lora Shafer is a RN, she lives in East Liberty, Oh. Lora is shown here with Pedro at a recent "Dogs Day Out" event. She also volunteers weekly at the Humane Society, walking the dogs and giving them individual attention .

" Katy Hill is absolutely INDISPENSIBLE! She is the one who picks all of the dogs for the events, tests them to make sure they all get along with each other well, and makes sure the equipment for the dogs (collars and leads) are a perfect fit.  She will also do anything else necessary, to make sure that the dogs are ready for their, big day," added Peggy Leasure Event-Co-Ordinator for the Humane Society Serving Logan County.

Larry Mawhorr shown here with Rockford, at the Adoption Event at Petsmart in Hilliard, Oh 11-13-11. Larry helps with the Saturday Bingo, Woof Walk, and adoption events. Larry and his wife Arla, live with four housedogs. 

Lindsey Levy is a senior at Wet Liberty Salem High School. She has been a volunteer with the humane society for around one year. Lindsey helps with temperment testing, dog washes, adoption events and the rummage sale. Lindsey is aspiring to be a dog groomer. She describes herself as an extreme dog lover:)

Joe Ridder from the Indian Lake area, is shown here with Virginia. This picture was taken at the Petsmart Adoption Event held 11-13-11 in Hilliard, Ohio. Joe has been a HSSLC volunteer for 5 years, helping with the annual yard sale in June and "Dogs Day Out" Adoption Events.
